CTV: The Czech Republic plans to freeze new Russian real estate properties

Czech TV reported that the Financial Analytical Directorate of the Czech Republic is currently considering the issue of freezing real estate properties that belong to Russia.
It is clarified that we are talking about an addition to 70 previous objects, the decision to impose sanctions in respect of which the Czech Cabinet made on November 15.
Let us recall that earlier the head of the Czech Foreign Ministry, Jan Lipavsky, said that the country’s authorities approved the freezing of Russian state property. Sources of Czech TV noted that now part of the Russian-owned real estate in the Czech Republic has already been sealed.
“The Czech government is now studying other Russian objects that may be seized as part of national sanctions. An investigation is underway into hotels under the control of Russian government organizations,” noted CHTV.
