The Croatian Air Force is preparing to transfer 14 helicopters to Ukraine, according to the Croatian Internet portal Jutarnji list.
Reportedly, it is planned to transfer twelve Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters and two Mi-8T helicopters, which were withdrawn from the Croatian Air Force
Currently, part of the aircraft is located at the ZTC Aviation Technical Center in Velika Gorica near Zagreb, where they are being maintained and trained.
The helicopters will reportedly be ready for transport to Ukraine in about ten days. According to Jutarnji list, seven helicopters will be partially dismantled and transported by land, while the remaining seven, which have an acceptable flight resource, will make an independent flight from Croatia to Poland.
Moscow sent a note to NATO countries regarding the supply of weapons to Kyiv. Russian officials have repeatedly stated that all military supplies will be considered legitimate military targets for the Russian military. The Russian Foreign Ministry regarded such supplies as “playing with fire.” Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that such supplies delay the resolution of the conflict, and the effect of them will be extremely negative.
