Croatia from January 1 received the right to issue Schengen visas

Croatia became part of the Schengen area on January 1, having received the right to issue Schengen visas. This is reported by the Council of the European Union.
From this date, inspections at the land and sea borders between Croatia and other countries of the Schengen zone are cancelled. From March 26, according to information, checks at internal air borders will be canceled.
So far, there is no official information about whether the previously issued national visas of Croatia will be valid and whether they will be equated to Schengen after the decision that has come into force.
