In 2024, the Crimean budget provides almost 12 billion rubles. for social payments to citizens, said the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov. “Federal funds are planned to be used for payments assigned in the event of the birth of a third child or subsequent children before they reach three years of age; payment of housing and communal services to certain categories of citizens; social payments to the unemployed and others,” Aksenov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Republican funds, he specified, will be used to pay child benefits to a single mother; assistance for children under guardianship; monthly payments to war veterans and labor veterans; assistance to low-income families and others.
The head of Crimea also added that more than 1.7 billion rubles are provided for monthly assistance to orphans and children left without parental care and adopted into a foster family, as well as monetary compensation for foster parents.
Earlier, the Crimean authorities stated that the damage from the hurricane that raged on the peninsula at the end of November last year amounted to more than 40 billion rubles.
