The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) has completed repairs at the second tanker mooring facility (TLU-2) in Yuzhnaya Ozereevka near Novorossiysk. The device is ready for transshipment of oil to tankers. This was reported in press service companies.
The company noted that the pace of work was affected by adverse cold conditions characteristic of the winter period and changes in underwater currents.
The CPC system is the main export route for oil from Kazakhstan. In 2022, the pumping volume was to be 67 million tons. On August 22, CPC stopped the operation of two out of three remote mooring units due to damage discovered during the inspection, oil loading was carried out at a reduced volume. November 12 CPC informed on the completion of repairs at the first offshore berth.
