Court sets March 4 for Trump’s trial in Capitol attack

A court in Washington has scheduled March 4, 2024 for the start of the trial of former US President Donald Trump in the case of an attempt to cancel the results of the 2020 presidential election with the storming of the Capitol as one of the episodes. About it informs Associated Press (AP).

District Judge Tanya Chutkan denied the defense’s motion to postpone the start of the trial to April 2026. However, she also refused the prosecution to start the case in January 2024. A trial date for the fourth criminal case against Trump has not yet been set.
