Counter-Circumstances // How Candidates for Moscow Mayor Plan Their Communication with Voters

[ad_1]

As Kommersant found out, only two of the registered candidates for mayor of Moscow – Moscow City Duma deputy from the Communist Party Leonid Zyuganov and State Duma vice speaker from New People Vladislav Davankov – publicly post schedules of their meetings with voters. The rest of the contenders for the mayor’s chair, including the current mayor Sergei Sobyanin, prefer not to announce such meetings. At the same time, Mr. Sobyanin is actively updating his website and Telegram channel, where he almost constantly reports on the current work of the city authorities. Experts remind that it is the right of the candidates themselves to conduct or not to hold meetings with voters.
