WHO reports looting of humanitarian convoy heading to Gaza hospitals
The press service of the World Health Organization published statement on the social network X, in which she reported the looting of a humanitarian convoy heading to the Gaza Strip.
As Ahmed Al-Mandhari, regional director for the Eastern Mediterranean, said, the WHO convoy was carrying water and food for two hospitals in the north of the enclave.
“Levels of hunger and desperation in Gaza have reached catastrophic levels. Food and water delivered to two hospitals on December 23 were forcibly taken away by desperate local residents,” the report said.
