Consensus forecast of Vedomosti: the key rate of the Central Bank in December will remain at the level of 7.5%

According to the results of the last meeting of this year, which will be held on Friday, December 16, the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia will keep the key rate at 7.5% per annum, according to analysts polled by Vedomosti. At the same time, two out of 16 experts do not rule out a slight reduction in the rate – to 7.25 or 7%.
The Central Bank will make further decisions on the key rate, taking into account the actual and expected inflation dynamics relative to the target, the process of economic restructuring, as well as assessing the risks from internal and external conditions and the reaction of financial markets to them, the regulator indicated in a press release following the previous meeting .
