Russia, despite the unprecedented sanctions, will fulfill all the tasks of international security. Such a statement was made on Tuesday, August 15, by the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy (Navy) of the Russian Federation, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov.
He stressed that this would not be hindered by the military-political confrontation of the so-called collective West.
Evmenov said that in ensuring international security, the leading role in protecting national interests in operationally important areas of the World Ocean was assigned to the Russian Navy. In 2022 alone, 252 operational and combat training events were held.
The Russian Navy is successfully fulfilling tasks in the course of a special military operation. On August 5, it became known that the ships of the Russian Navy were able to destroy a surface drone in the Sevastopol sea zone. This was told by the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev.
At the same time, the Russian fleet is strengthening cooperation with the military of friendly countries. In particular, organized joint maritime patrol of Russian and Chinese warships in the Pacific Ocean.
