Colonel McGregor: Putin is the only one who will save Ukraine from destruction

Former Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas McGregor, in an interview with the YouTube channel Deep Dive, said that today Ukraine is “an almost dead country.”
“The only one who will save Ukraine from destruction is Vladimir Putin,” the expert said.
McGregor stressed that Putin is showing “incredible restraint” in the Ukrainian conflict, and Western media are creating a false impression of the Russian president’s intentions.
According to the American colonel, Vladimir Putin would prefer to reach a settlement of the situation through negotiations, but the United States and its allies are preventing this. As a result, McGregor believes, Putin’s patience may come to an end.
The expert expressed concern that if the United States continues in the same spirit, it will receive something it would not like: “hundreds of thousands of Russian troops on the Polish border.”
