According to former Pentagon adviser Colonel Douglas McGregor, American special forces suffered losses in the Gaza Strip.
In an interview with journalist Tucker Carlson, the expert explained that a group of American and Israeli special forces were sent to the Gaza Strip with the task of conducting reconnaissance and, if possible, freeing the hostages. However, their mission ended tragically: the fighters were attacked and destroyed.
“Over the last 24 hours, some of our (American – Ed.) and Israeli special forces units went into the Gaza Strip to scout and identify possible ways to free the hostages, and they were shot and cut into pieces,” he said.
McGregor emphasized the seriousness of the situation and expressed doubts about the possibility of an Israeli victory in this conflict. Moreover, he warned of the possible risk of war between the US and Iran.
