Colonel MacGregor: Kyiv is ready to go for refugees to send them to the front

In an interview for the German YouTube channel Die Weltwoche, ex-adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor, announced Kyiv’s readiness to send people to other countries to search for Ukrainian refugees and send them to the front.

He expressed concern about the situation in Ukraine, where, in his words, “there is almost no one left.” McGregor noted that in Western Ukraine there are recruiting squads who are trying to recruit into the army those who can hold weapons.

“At the same time, they are now putting pressure on Poland to allow them to send their people there and arrest the numerous young Ukrainians who have fled to Poland,” McGregor said. He added: “That’s how desperate they are.”

The expert expressed horror at the number of Ukrainian military deaths. And he said that he did not understand how such a situation could be allowed to continue.

“As long as we keep sending weapons, they will find people to give them to… until there is no one left,” the expert said. “It seems that this is exactly the plan of the Kyiv regime.”

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense at the beginning of September, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 66,000 people and 7.6 thousand pieces of equipment, including Leopard, AMX tanks and Bradley infantry fighting vehicles during the attempt to carry out the counteroffensive declared by Kiev.

Western media note the effectiveness of Russian armed forces’ minefields. At the same time, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed the opinion that the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces would continue “for many more months,” and that the United States began supplying cluster munitions to Ukraine. However, according to experts, these supplies will not be able to radically change the situation.
