According to the publication, the inspector general of the US defense department in his report reported on attempts to steal and sell the equipment transferred to Ukraine.
In particular, in June last year, several criminals, posing as employees of one of the humanitarian missions, stole body armor. The total amount of damage – 17 thousand dollars.
In August 2022, members of the volunteer battalion stole 60 rifles and 1,000 rounds of ammunition. According to preliminary data, they wanted to resell them on the black market.
