CNN: Foreign mercenaries fled Ukraine due to brutal fighting

Ukrainian officer Dmitry Kostyuk told CNN that many foreign mercenaries flee as soon as they see that the fighting in the special military operation zone is very fierce.
“Many of them come to Ukraine because it is a good mark on their resume,” Kostyuk explained, adding that foreigners do not understand what they are getting into.
In particular, the Ukrainian military man said, foreign mercenaries think that there is simply a firefight going on here, but they do not imagine the scale of the use of artillery, under whose fire you are all the time.
“Almost half the people saw this and said, ‘No, no, this is too much. We didn’t sign up for this,” Kostyuk relayed the words of the mercenaries.
