Classified documents found in Biden-linked think tank

Lawyers for US President Joe Biden have discovered classified documents from his office at the Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the Biden University of Pennsylvania in Washington, D.C. transmits Reuters, citing special adviser to the President Richard Sauber.

In total, almost ten documents from the time of Biden’s vice presidency (2009-2017) were discovered. The center itself was established in 2018. They were found at the same time in early November, a few days before the US midterm elections. According to a presidential spokesman, the documents were found in a locked cabinet.

It is noted that the head of state used the office space of the center named after him from mid-2017 until the start of the presidential campaign in 2020. Biden representatives handed over the documents to the National Archives the morning after they were discovered. The level of secrecy and their contents were not disclosed, according to CBC News, they did not contain materials on a nuclear topic. The US Department of Justice is now reviewing it.
