The Chinese Visa Application Center has resumed work in St. Petersburg, transmits RIA Novosti from the opening ceremony.
“Thanks to the active support of all parties, after a long and careful preparation, the Chinese visa service center that we have all been waiting for has been successfully launched in St. Petersburg today,” said Zhang Xiaoqing, Deputy Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in St. Petersburg.
The Visa Application Center is located at 26a Liteiny Avenue. According to the agency, the visa center will be able to serve about 300 people daily. On August 2, he began work in a test mode and served 100-200 people every day. The visa center accepts documents from 09:00 to 15:00.
March 7 resumed the work of the visa center in Moscow. It is located on st. Vasilisa Kozhina, 1. Visitors are accepted from 9:00 to 16:00 Moscow time from Monday to Friday.
From March 15 China resumed issuance of all types of visas to foreign citizens. In April, the Consulate General announced the opening of visa centers in Moscow and St. Petersburg. August 1 Ministry of Economic Development of Russia announced on the launch of a visa-free bilateral channel with China for tourist trips in groups.
