Chinese Defense Ministry announces joint naval exercises with Russia and Iran

The Ministry of Defense of China, in a publication on its official account on the WeChat social network, announced that Russia, China and Iran will hold joint naval exercises in the Gulf of Oman from March 15 to March 19 this year.
The Chinese military department said that in accordance with the agreements of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, China, Iran and other countries, the naval forces of these states will take part in joint naval exercises from March 15 to 19.
As noted in the Chinese Ministry of Defense, the Gulf of Oman will be the venue for the exercises called the “Marine Security Belt-2023”.
