According to Wu Bingbing, people sometimes need to discuss general principles as well, because disagreements about what they should be and how to interpret them create the most problems. This is how the analyst responded to criticism from Western countries that China’s peace plan to resolve the Ukrainian conflict is only a set of basic principles.
Wu Bingbing also emphasized that the efforts of not only Russia and Europe, but also the states of Asia and other parts of the world, would be required for a peaceful settlement of the situation in Ukraine, since it would “be a boon” for the whole world.
