China demands the US return three pandas

Beijing has recalled three pandas from Washington; they will return to China at the end of 2023, RIA Novosti reports.
The agency notes that the reason for the movement of animals is the complex relations between countries.
The PRC willingly shares pandas with many countries, but under the condition that the animals themselves and their offspring forever remain the property of China.
Bloomberg previously reported that three pandas from the Washington Zoo will return to China in December under a lease agreement. The agency also noted that by the end of 2024, the Chinese will take other pandas from the United States.
