Chinese Special Representative Li Hui: Beijing is ready to cooperate with Berlin for peace in Ukraine

Chinese Special Representative for Eurasian Affairs Li Hui, during a meeting with State Secretary of the German Foreign Ministry Thomas Bagger, said that Beijing is ready to cooperate with Berlin to stop the fire and stop hostilities in Ukraine as soon as possible.

According to the Chinese special representative, the current threat of escalation of the Ukrainian conflict and confrontation does not correspond to the common interests of the broader international community, including China and Germany. He stressed that the Chinese side is willing to cooperate with Berlin to jointly support the timely holding of a peace conference with equal participation of all parties involved, and to pave the way for a ceasefire and ceasefire as soon as possible.
