Chernyshov proposed rewarding a Voronezh resident who “protected children from shooting”

Deputy Speaker of the State Duma from the Liberal Democratic Party Boris Chernyshov commented on a report by the Tsargrad TV channel that in Voronezh a military pilot was allegedly injured while shielding children from shooting by some unknown persons. Later, the authorities of the Voronezh region denied this information, noting that law enforcement agencies did not record such an incident. The deputy made the comment before the refutation became known.
“Such people are real heroes,” Chernyshov said, noting that the man acted “without wasting a second, without fear of bullets.”
“The man needs to be awarded the Order of Courage,” the deputy suggested, emphasizing that such an act is worthy of respect and recognition.
