This will make it possible to build a new number of rooms, infrastructure to the resorts, support entrepreneurial initiatives, national tourist routes, as well as provide schoolchildren and youth with free educational trips, Chernyshenko noted.
This spring, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed direct voluntary contributions that come to the budget from transactions for the transfer of assets of investors from unfriendly countries to the development of tourism infrastructure. At the same time, the head of state instructed to allocate funds to the travel companies of Crimea and Sevastopol from the national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry” in order to maintain the efficiency of these organizations.
In early June, Vice-President of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) Sergey Romashkin notedthat tour operators have sold at the moment about half of the summer trips in Russia from the expected volume. According to him, the growth in sales of tours to the most popular regions, including the Krasnodar Territory, reached 27% in the first five months compared to last year.
Forum “Travel!” takes place in Moscow from 8 to 11 June.
