Aqualife Resource, part of the Chernogolovka group of companies, has closed a deal to buy the Russian assets of the American Kellogg’s (Kellogg Rus), including Pringles chips. According to the extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the company acquired 100% of the authorized capital on July 13.
As reported TASS in the press service of Chernogolovka, Kellogg Rus will be renamed Lyubyatovo. The company will continue to produce cereals under the Extra brand and the Dinosaurs, Unicorn and Choco Zavr brands.
Kellogg was founded in 1906 in the USA. Kellogg Rus has been operating in Russia since 2008. It produces Pringles, Lyubyatovo, Krave, Dinosaurs and Unicorn breakfast cereals. The company has three factories – in Voronezh, Pskov and Vyazma, the staff is 1,780 thousand people.
After the start of a special military operation, Kellogg’s suspended investments and supplies to Russia. On the company’s plans to sell Russian assets to Chernogolovka reported in December 2022.
GC “Chernogolovka” is engaged in the production of soft drinks, snacks, sweets, baby food. The group’s brands include Fantola, Baikal, Turbo Energy, Bon Giorno, Fry’s, Savinov.
