Chemezov denied reports of a shortage of shells of the Russian Armed Forces

Statements that the Russian military does not have enough shells are not true, said Sergey Chemezov, CEO of the Rostec state corporation.

“The conversations that our enemies are having today, that Russia is allegedly running out of missiles, shells, something else, is complete nonsense. By order of the Ministry of Defense, we have increased the production of ammunition several times, and for some types it has been increased by several orders of magnitude, ”Chemezov said (quote according to RIA Novosti).

According to him, during the special operation a large amount of ammunition of all types is really consumed – cartridges, artillery and tank shells, missiles.

At the same time, an unnamed US government official told the newspaper that in addition to short-range missiles and artillery shells, Russia will try to purchase additional equipment from the DPRK. Russian and Iranian authorities also repeatedly denied reports of alleged deliveries of Iranian-made drones to Russia for use in the course of a special operation.
