Chemezov: it is planned to test a remote-controlled infantry fighting vehicle on the battlefield
It is planned to test a new domestic remote-controlled infantry fighting vehicle on the battlefield. The general director of the Rostec state corporation Sergei Chemezov informed about this.
“The vehicle is currently undergoing tests, after their completion, I think it will be tested in a special operation zone,” he said.
The General Director drew attention to the prospects of the equipment, which in the future will eliminate the risk of the crew being killed in the most dangerous sectors of the front.
At the same time, Chemezov added, the 2S25M self-propelled anti-tank gun can also be equipped with such a kit.
It is noted that such a model can work without a crew – it is controlled by an operator located in a mobile point. An electronic tablet will be sufficient for the new infantry fighting vehicle, the material says.
