General Director of the Samolet development group Anton Elistratov leaves his post on his own initiative, reported company press service. At the same time, Mr. Elistratov will retain a stake in the company and remain a member of the board of directors.
The board of directors intends to appoint Andrey Ivanenko, who has been working in the company since 2019, to the position of the new general director of Samolet. Previously, Mr. Ivanenko was the managing partner and general director of the group’s largest division, Samolet Moscow. The final decision on the resignation of Anton Elistratov and the appointment of Andrei Ivanenko will be made next week.
“Anton Elistratov will remain a shareholder of the company and a member of the board of directors. He will participate in the strategic development of the group, and will also continue to advise Andrei Ivanenko during the transition period in order to ensure the smoothest and most efficient transition of the company under his management,” the press service noted.
In 2018, Anton Elistratov took the position of managing director of Samolet with membership in the board of directors, and in November 2019 he became general director. Under his leadership the company spent initial public offering (IPO) on the Moscow Exchange and increased capitalization fourfold, to 235 billion rubles.
The Samolet development group is included in the list of backbone organizations of the Russian economy. At the end of last year, the company’s net profit increased by 23%, to 34.3 billion rubles, and revenue by 53%, to 297.4 billion rubles.
