Celine set the trendy rock bar

The French fashion house Celine got tired of waiting for another Fashion Week and organized its own show.
Hedi Slimane, creative director of the house, who took over almost four years ago, is known for his passion for the rock era. It is logical that immediately after the fashion show, a mini-concert was given by Iggy Pop, The Kills, The Strokes and Interpol, and triangular slices of pizza in Celine branded packaging and burgers were served for a snack. Slimane showcased his latest fall/winter 2022/2023 collection under a “starry sky” at the acclaimed Art Deco landmark, the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles.
Since sequins, minis and skinnies are Slimane’s strong point, evening dresses with fur coats, short skirts and tight jeans tucked into high boots appeared on the catwalk under the slogan “Indie pop” (a special culture of independence).
And yet, the main emphasis now should be made precisely on evening dresses, because the main night of the year is close. But, of course, I will also write a special fashion text to voice the main recommendations for the current New Year’s outfit.
