Canada urged its citizens to leave Belarus immediately due to the risk of arbitrary application of “local laws and war in Ukraine” transmits press service of the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Canadians should avoid traveling to Belarus due to the risk of selective application of local laws and armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine,” the document says.
The French Foreign Ministry also earlier called on its citizens who are in Belarus to immediately leave the country. The Foreign Ministry also called on citizens to refrain from traveling to the republic. The ministry added that citizens who wish to fly out of the country must apply for an exit visa at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.
