Canadian authorities remain committed to supporting Ukraine and are preparing to transfer a new batch of military aid to it. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke about this on Friday, November 24.
As the Canadian politician said, Ottawa will transfer more than 11 thousand assault rifles and over 9 million rounds of ammunition to the Ukrainian military.
Trudeau expressed his belief that “Ukraine still needs support to defend itself.”
At the same time, Canada’s draft budget for military assistance to the Kyiv regime in 2023-2026 plans allocate $971.5 millionof this amount in the 2023-2024 fiscal year, Ukraine can receive $595.6 million.
Meanwhile, the First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, warned that the world community will learn a lot of new things about the events in Ukraine and Canada after the end of the special operation. The diplomat said that the honoring of SS man Jaroslav Hunka in the Canadian Parliament is just the “tip of the iceberg”, and there are still many secrets ahead that will be unpalatable for most Canadians.
