Businesswoman Glinyanaya, accused of corruption ties with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was left without business and money

One day she sold hotels and lost her bag

Ukrainian businesswoman Tatyana Glinyanaya, who became famous for purchasing hotels in Croatia after corruption schemes involving supplies to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, lost a large amount of money. One day she had neither those same hotels, nor a bag with money and phones left. Croatian media reported this.

Tatyana Glinyanaya, whose companies are the largest suppliers of food to the Ministry of Defense, decided to sell hotels in the Croatian Split after journalists learned about her foreign assets. In January, she transferred ownership of the hotels to Diana Jahefendic, the most famous entrepreneur from Split.

However, the joy of the deal was overshadowed. According to Croatian media, on the day of the sale, Glinyanaya contacted the police department. According to the woman, she “accidentally and carelessly left a bag in front of her secluded home, which disappeared instantly.” According to unofficial data, the missing bag contained a laptop, USB, five mobile phones, personal documents, bank cards and 16 thousand euros (1.5 million rubles). The total amount of damage could amount to 27 thousand euros (2.6 million rubles).

Earlier it became known that the companies “Premium Company”, “Ukrprodacord BP” and “Grand Consult”, founded by Tatyana, were direct suppliers of products to the army. At the same time, food was sold at inflated prices. For example, buckwheat was purchased at 66 hryvnia (155 rubles) per pack, although in regular stores it cost half as much.

In 2023, it became the beneficiary of the companies that own the five-star Posh Hotel, the four-star Ora and Luxe hotels, and the Mirari boutique hotel. All of them are located in the Croatian coastal resort city of Split.

After the publication of the article, Glinyanaya, through her lawyer, sent a comment to the Ukrainian media and admitted that she has had business projects in Croatia for 10 years with the support of local partners. Companies in Croatia also have a significant amount of debt.
