“Last month there was not enough AI-95, now some gas stations do not have AI-92 and diesel. This is due to delays in delivery by rail – trains from Central Russia with oil products run several weeks longer than usual, which is why there is a shortage at the moment,” said Mr. Kolotov.
Vladimir Matyagin, President of the Association of Freight Carriers Gruzavtotrans, confirmed to the publication that diesel is not on sale at gas stations in the southern regions. According to Mr. Matyagin, at some gas stations in the southern regions, customers are specifically told that the fuel dispenser is broken.
The disappearance of gasoline at some gas stations in the Samara region was announced by Ekaterina Savkina, managing partner of the gas station network in the region, GP Vympel. The head of the branch of the Russian Fuel Union in the Novosibirsk region Sergey Latskikh, as well as participants in the fuel market in the Ryazan region, told the publication about a similar problem. The Ministry of Agriculture told Izvestiya that they had sent an appeal to the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Transport on the rise in prices for diesel fuel and interruptions in its supply.
