The command of the armed formations of Ukraine “decided to put all their chips on the table,” Business Insider writes, citing data from military experts and analysts.
As noted, the Kiev regime has activated a strategic reserve – the 82nd airborne assault brigade of the strategic reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 46th airmobile brigade. The Armed Forces of Ukraine expect to achieve any success in the counteroffensive due to this, the portal reports.
“Ukrainian generals have decided to put all their chips on the table, putting up everything they intend to use,” writes Business Insider.
As the Washington Post wrote, US intelligence agencies believe that Ukraine this year will not be able to fulfill the key goal of its counteroffensive in the south – to reach Melitopol. The publication also writes that Kyiv recently sent additional reserves to the front, including Challenger tanks and Stryker infantry fighting vehicles, but has not yet broken through the main line of defense of the Russian Armed Forces.
Earlier it was reported that part of the US congressmen opposed the provision of assistance to the Kyiv regime, this is due to the published forecast of the US intelligence services, in which the prospects for a counteroffensive by the Ukrainian army are assessed negatively. US President Joe Biden sent a corresponding request for the allocation of military, financial and humanitarian assistance to the Kyiv regime for $24 billion.
