Bulgaria boasted of providing the country with gas for the next year

The gas crisis for Bulgaria is left behind. It is provided with gas for the next 12-14 months. The Minister of Economy of Bulgaria Nikola Stoyanov boasted of the achievement in an interview with Nova TV channel.
“The situation is exceptionally dynamic. If this question had been asked two months ago. then I would say no… But now we have a long-term gas supply agreement with Azerbaijan, and we can add agreements on the supply of liquefied and piped gas to it,” Stoyanov said.
A month ago, Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister announced that his country was ready to cover 19% of Bulgaria’s gas needs by the end of the year. After that, the gas transmission operators of Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia and Romania announced the possibility of delivering Azerbaijani gas to Europe through the united gas transmission networks.
