The Bulgarian Ministry of Transport has begun the procedure for transferring the Rosenets port terminal to state control. The decision was made after the termination of the concession agreement with LUKOIL on August 15.

LUKOIL Neftochim Burgas entered into a concession agreement for the Rosenets port terminal in May 2011. The concession was granted for 35 years. Parliament of Bulgaria decided to terminate concession because of the sanctions imposed against Russia because of the military operation in Ukraine.
