Citibank informed, which from August 22 suspends the acceptance and purchase of dollars and euros at its cash desks. At the beginning of August, the credit institution introduced 5% commission for depositing cash dollars and euros.

Changes are made to tariffs for CitiOne and Citigold banking service packages. Today, August 21, the service is still available.

Effective August 19, Citibank has suspended the ability to make transfers via IVR, Citiphone’s automated banking system (call-based account management). Also, customers were banned from replenishing their accounts using postal money orders through Russian Post offices.

From August 1, the acceptance and purchase of cash from individuals is also suspended Raiffeisenbank. Several banks have introduced a commission for depositing cash, including Unicredit Bank, BCS Bank, Tinkoff Bank. How noted newspaper Izvestia, by the end of July, 11 out of 13 systemically important Russian banks stopped accepting dollars and euros through ATMs.
