Budget expenditures to support families with children in 2022 amounted to more than 1.06 trillion rubles, transmits TASS with reference to the head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov.
According to him, a total of 1,062.2 billion rubles were allocated to support families with children. Of these, 410.5 billion rubles were allocated to children aged 8 to 17 years, 341.4 billion rubles to children aged 3 to 7 years, 60.9 billion rubles to allowances for single parents of children aged 8 to 17, allowance for pregnant women – 17 billion rubles, for payment for the first child – 154.2 billion rubles, for payment for the third – 80.2 billion rubles, for two payments for children from 3 to 7 years and from 8 to 16 years – RUB 751.9 billion
At the end of November, President Vladimir Putin signed a law that establishes a single allowance in connection with the birth and upbringing of a child. The single allowance will combine payments to women who are registered at an early stage of pregnancy, as well as payments in connection with the birth or adoption of a child under 17 years of age.
It is assumed that the amount of the allowance will depend on the income of the family. It can be from 50 to 100% of the regional PM for children. Pregnant women will receive from 50 to 100% of the regional PM of the working population.
