Bryansk governor announced the death of four people during the night shelling of Suzemka

The death toll in the shelling of the village of Suzemka, Bryansk region, has risen to four, the bodies of two more residents have been found, and a state of emergency has been introduced in the village, Governor Alexander Bogomaz said.
“Currently, two more civilians have been found and removed from the rubble. Unfortunately, both of them died. In total, at the moment, two citizens suffered from the actions of Ukrainian nationalists, they were taken to the hospital and are under the supervision of doctors,” wrote Bogomaz in his Telegram channel.
In the village of Suzemka, a state of emergency was introduced, the rubble continues to be dismantled at the scene, the governor said. In the territory where operational measures have been completed, a damage assessment commission is working.
The head of the region announced the first shelling at 0:31 Moscow time. Then the shell hit one of the residential buildings, which caused a fire. One person was injured, two civilians were killed. According to Bogomaz, one residential building was completely destroyed, two more houses are partially destroyed. The second shelling of Suzemka took place at about 5 am, it was carried out with the help of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). According to the governor, several shells were shot down by an air defense system, as a result, one house was partially destroyed. Bogomaz accused Ukraine of shelling the territory of the region.
Now in the region there is an indefinite “yellow” level of terrorist danger. In addition, since October 19, 2022, the region has also introduced a “medium response” mode. In addition to the Bryansk region, such a regime has been established in seven other regions – Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Sevastopol, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov Regions.
