British Chief of Defense Staff told Gerasimov about the importance of maintaining communication channels

British Chief of Defense Staff Sir Anthony Radakin told Chief of Staff of the RF Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov that in the present conditions it is very important to maintain open channels of communication. According to Radakin, this may contribute to the de-escalation of the situation in Ukraine.
According to the British Ministry of Defense, Radakin also told Gerasimov that London would continue to provide military support to Kyiv.
Earlier, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Gerasimov, in a conversation with Radakin, discussed the situation related to the possible use of a “dirty bomb” by Ukraine.
