Britain will “gladly” support other countries in providing fighter jets to Kyiv

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at the Munich Security Conference answered a question about the possible supply of fighter jets to Ukraine.
He said there were “difficulties” in providing certain types of aircraft. At the same time, as Sunak recalled, the UK is training the Ukrainian military to use NATO aircraft. The British prime minister also added that Britain “will be happy to support countries” that will have the opportunity to immediately provide aircraft to Kyiv.
Meanwhile, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace said in an interview with the German magazine Der Spiegel: “It will be a long time before anyone delivers fighter jets to Ukraine.” We are talking, in particular, about such fighters as the Eurofighter Typhoon. At the same time, Wallace did not rule out that Ukraine’s allies “may take this step at some point.”
