Jenrick noted that Britain is working with Egypt and other countries to get Britons out of Gaza, and is also trying to get aid into Gaza. The minister also said that migration is not the primary way to solve the problem.
“The best thing the UK can do is to use our diplomatic capabilities and also use our very generous budget in places like Gaza. We are working closely with the UN and are seeing if we can do anything more on the humanitarian front in the coming days. At the moment, this is our priority,” the minister concluded.
