The UK is ready to assist Germany in solving the problems it faces regarding the supply of long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine. British Foreign Minister David Cameron announced this in an interview Sueddeutsche Zeitung.
At the same time, London is also ready to consider the option of supplying Kyiv with its Storm Shadow missiles, and in return receiving Taurus from Germany.
“We are ready to consider all options,” said a British diplomat when answering a question about whether an exchange was being discussed: Britain transferring Storm Shadow missiles to Ukraine, and receiving Taurus in return.
Cameron also claims that the use of these missiles can impose restrictions that will make it possible to “avoid escalation.”
