Oil prices returned to growth after falling the day before. The cost of September futures for Brent crude on the ICE exchange rose by 0.23% to $78.68 per barrel. Futures for WTI crude rose 0.31% to $74.38 per barrel.
Bank of America expectsthat the cost of Brent in 2023 will rise to an average of $100 per barrel in 2023. Last week, Brent oil prices rose above $81 per barrel for the first time since the end of April, breaking out of a narrow corridor that they had been in for more than two months.
