Breakthrough of the Kakhovskaya dam will prevent the supply of water through the North Crimean Canal

If the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station is broken, then the supply of water through the North Crimean Canal to the Crimea will stop. This was stated by the head of the administration of the Novokakhovka district Vladimir Leontiev, speaking on the air of the Soloviev Live TV channel.
As the official noted, if the dam is broken, the North Crimean Canal will remain without water for many years. Water supply can be resumed only if the dam is restored.
Recall that the Ukrainian army regularly launches missile attacks on the structures of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station in the Kherson region. It is also possible that the Armed Forces of Ukraine may use sea mines against hydroelectric power plants. This was also stated by Vladimir Leontiev.
