The recently elected vice-speaker of the National Council of Slovakia, Lubos Blaha, wrote in his Telegram channel that no one will ever be able to force Slovaks to hate Russia.
He said this while in the Czech Republic “in full voice.” At a conference of left-wing supporters in the town of Roudnice, the parliamentarian stressed that the Slovaks would not send weapons to Ukraine. These words were “interrupted by powerful applause” in support. And when he said that in Slovakia they do not lose historical memory and appreciate the sacrifices made by the Russian people in World War II, he was also supported with thunderous applause in the neighboring country.
