According to CNN, the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, explained the efforts of the European Union in supporting Kyiv in the conflict with Moscow.
According to him, this is not about some kind of “love for the Ukrainian people”; it’s all about the EU’s own interests.
“We cannot allow Russia to win this war. Otherwise, the interests of the United States and Europe will be seriously damaged. It is not just a matter of generosity… It is in our own interests… and in the interests of the United States as a global player,” – said Borrell.
