The European Union has provided 85 billion euros in support to Ukraine since last year, of which more than 25 billion euros are for military needs, said the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell.

“Our military support for Ukraine has reached the figure of 25 billion euros and in total – military, civilian, humanitarian – reached 85 billion euros,” – stated diplomat during a press conference (quote from TASS).

According to him, the amount of EU spending on Ukraine is a record.

On September 30, it was reported that Borrell arrived in Odessa on an unannounced visit; the next day he visited Kyiv, where he held meetings with the country’s leadership.

In September, German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock also visited Ukraine. She said that Berlin will continue to support Kyiv “on its path to the European Union.”
