Bogomaz: Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled the village of Suzemka again in the morning, where a shell killed two residents at night
The Governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, announced a new shelling of the Suzemka regional center by artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “One residential building was partially destroyed. Operational services are working on the spot,” the head of the region wrote on his Telegram channel.
Local media specify that the next shelling took place around three in the morning. Three shells fell in the village. One of them hit a residential building, but did not explode. Half an hour later, two more shells flew into Suzemka. A few more munitions were shot down, according to the governor, by the air defense system.
Earlier, Alexander Bogomaz reported about two dead as a result of the previous shelling. It is known about two victims – a man and a woman, as well as one completely and two partially destroyed residential buildings.
Suzemka is located seven kilometers from the border with the Sumy region of Ukraine. Since June 2022, the village has been regularly shelled. In December last year, as a result of the shelling, the railway lines were broken. Local authorities temporarily organized a bus service to replace the railway.
