As a result of the shelling of the village of Belaya Berezka by Ukraine, seven households were partially destroyed, there were no casualties among the residents, informed Governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at the village of Belaya Berezka, Trubchevsky District. There were no casualties. As a result of the shelling, seven residential households were partially destroyed. Operational and emergency services are working on the spot,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The Bryansk region came under fire for the third time since the morning of September 2. Bogomaz first informed about the attack on the village of Klimovo, then there were no casualties and no damage. Then the village of Kurkovichi in the Starodubsky municipal district was subjected to shelling. According to the governor, no one was hurt, but one residential building was partially damaged.

30 and 31 August the region several times attacked drones, the air defense system worked. In particular, on August 30, Bogomaz reported five attacks by Ukraine, and the building of the regional Investigative Committee was damaged due to the destruction of a drone. Kyiv also tried to attack the TV tower, the governor said.

The authorities of the Bryansk region regularly report shelling from Ukraine. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region. A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat also operates in the region indefinitely.
