Bloomberg: Zelensky is going to request financial assistance from the head of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Bloomberg reports that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky intends to ask for financial assistance from the head of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Jamie Dimon during his stay at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The agency’s publication states that Zelensky’s plans include a meeting with Dimon this week at the World Economic Forum. The Ukrainian leader’s plans are explained by his desire to replenish the country’s treasury to fight Russia.
Bloomberg indicated that the provision of financial assistance in the amount of more than $100 billion for Kyiv was suspended due to the “fatigue” of the Ukrainian side’s allies and the lack of success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) on the battlefield. In this regard, according to the agency, Zelensky continues to look for opportunities to attract private capital for Ukraine and plans to hold a meeting with the head of JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York, and also speak at the annual meeting in Davos.
